Here we show you how our knitwear is made and what stages it goes through to achieve the excellence we commit everyday.

Welcome to the core of our creative endeavor, where the rhythmic dance of needles and yarn converges into a symphony of craftsmanship – the intricate world of knitting at MDM Textiles. Within the walls of our factory, precision and passion intertwine as we embark on the journey of transforming raw fibers into meticulously crafted knitwear.

We use SHIMA SEIKY and STOLL Software to create the styles’ designs and the knitting programs.

KNITTING

We are equipped with 120 knitting looms in gauges 3/5/7/10/12/14. There is an ongoing investment in new equipment to allow a better and more efficient response to our customers’ orders and demands. Our knitting machines work around the clock, in a three-shift system.

WASHING knitwear

All the knitted components are washed and dried before being manufactured.

ROLL PRESS AND CUTTING

All the washed components and pressed before being cut. The knitted components are cut down to the final size measures.

The press and cutting process in a knitting factory is a crucial stage that transforms the knitted fabric into the precise shapes and sizes required for the final product. This process involves a series of steps, ensuring accuracy and consistency in the production of high-quality knitwear.

ASSEMBLING AND LINKING

The knitted components are assembled and sewn. The linking process is performed by skilled operators.

METAL DETECTION AND PRESSING

All garments are submitted to the metal detection control before being pressed and packed. The pressing operation performed by skilled operators provides the garments an optimal look and touch.

END CONTROL AND PACKING

All garments are controlled a last time before being folded and packed.

In the culminating phase of our knitwear production journey, meticulous attention is devoted to the final checking and packaging process at MDM. Each garment undergoes a comprehensive quality assessment, where skilled inspectors meticulously scrutinize every detail, ensuring that our commitment to superior craftsmanship, creativity, and innovation is reflected in each stitch.
